Roquette will take part in the next CPhI, which will be held in Madrid from November 1st to 3rd, 2005.
This year the Roquette stand emphasises polyols: NEOSORB® sorbitol, XYLISORB® xylitol, MALTISORB® maltitol, LYCASIN® maltitol solution, and PEARLITOL® mannitol.
This range has unrivalled flexibility in pharmaceutical formulations, such as solid dry forms, paste and liquid forms but also pharmaceutical confectionery and injectable preparations.
Roquette’s PEARLITOL® mannitol range is extensive and so suitable for a diverse range of applications:
- PEARLITOL® 25 C, 50 C and 160 C: fine crystalline powders used as a diluent in granulation for the production of dry dosage forms and freeze-drying,
- PEARLITOL® 300 DC, 400 DC and 500 DC: first generation of granular mannitol offering coarse particle size and high density,
- PEARLITOL® 100 SD and 200 SD: second generation of spray dried mannitol offering low density and fine particle size.
Both PEARLITOL® DC and SD are free flowing and excellent diluents and binders for direct compression applications.
Roquette will also continue the presentation of novel products for pharmaceutical applications:
- Sodium lactate together with sodium gluconate further strengthens our significant range of raw materials for dialysis and injectable solutions.
- LYCATAB® Mineral: directly compressible excipients, combining calcium carbonate with starch derivatives, for mineral supplements.
- NUTRIOSE®: partially hydrolysed wheat or maize starch, soluble fiber for nutraceutical application or enteral nutrition.
