With its leading international position in the production, technology and application of polyols, Roquette offers the broadest range, including PEARLITOL® mannitol (crystalline, granulated), NEOSORB® sorbitol (solution, powder), MALTISORB® maltitol, XYLISORB® xylitol and LYCASIN® maltitol solutions.
These polyols offer a unique combination of chemical and microbiological stability with great taste and sugar-free sweetness making them outstanding and versatile excipients in many different pharmaceutical applications such as solid dosage forms, syrups, pharmaceutical confectionery, injectable formulations and oral care.
Amongst the best sellers in Roquette’s polyol portfolio, is the PEARLITOL® brand (crystalline, granulated) with an outstanding mannitol range dedicated to the manufacture of medicines. Very low hygroscopicity and exceptional chemical stability make PEARLITOL® mannitol the best choice in excipients for stable formulations. There is a PEARLITOL® grade for each application, from classical tablets, capsules and sachets to novel orodispersible and fast dissolving forms.
Roquette is the leading specialist of raw materials for injectables and dialysis solutions.
Produced for more than 20 years, ultra-pure pyrogen free dextrose monohydrate LYCADEX® PF is used worldwide by a majority of pharmaceutical companies involved in the production of solutions for infusions. The established range also includes pyrogen free polyols and KLEPTOSE® HPB pyrogen free HPBCD.
Committed to providing the most complete range of safe and reliable products for dialysis and parenteral applications, Roquette most recently introduced Sodium Lactate Pharma and Sodium Gluconate Pharma. These two highly purified pharmaceutical organic salts act as physiological buffers in dialysis and injectable solutions.
All Roquette’s pyrogen free products are entodoxin controlled and are produced on dedicated equipment in a strictly controlled environment.
